1.6.5 "software laser" bugfix questions

This is listed in the bugfixes of 1.6.5:

  • Fix a bug in potential network path filtering that could in some circumstances lead to “software laser” effects.

Is this specific for preventing ZT from creating packet storms when using ZT to route between local and ZT networks?

Right now im blacklisting networks or interfaces on local.conf to prevent this. Would that no longer be necessary now?

This fixes an issue where the blacklists wouldn’t even be considered. It was returning from the function before it even got to that point.

Thanks for the reply. I guess in my case the blacklists seem to have been working for me since 1.4.6.
