Connect to a Hyper-V vm (ran on a desktop)'s local ip from remote laptop

Hi, currently I have zerotier running on both my laptop and desktop just fine, I can access my desktop via remote desktop etc etc from my laptop just fine, but I have a Hyper-V vm on my desktop that I want to be able to access directly from my laptop, and I am unable to run zerotier on it. Is there a way I can add another ip or somehow proxy my connection specifically to that vm’s local ip if I want?

Sorry if this is a bit weirdly structured, just works for me. Help would be appreciated if you can, thanks in advance!
