Does Zerotier support Jumbo Frames?

Hello all,

I wanted to ask if Zerotier supports Jumbo Frames? I have a NAS with 9kB Jumbo Frames enabled and I just cannot access it. I was wondering if this is maybe the reason and if so, does ZT support other sizes or no Jumbo Frames at all?

Yes it does. You’ll have to change the MTU on your network and restart every ZeroTier node on your network.

This is a rather advanced use case that we don’t expose in the UI to users so you’ll have to set it via our REST API. Documentation for the REST API can be found here: https://my.zerotier.com/help/api
