What do the Zerotier devs think of mesh routing?

Just curious, I know this is not the way zerotier works, but other attempts have been made to have zerotier like VPN’s that route data using nodes (instead of relay) in the network where UDP hold punching fails.

Was there any thought of doing mesh style routing of data between nodes instead of a centralized relay server? If so, why not (too hard? not reliable? etc).

We support this now… configure a node to be a router, then you can send down a route of 0.0.0.0.
