The previous discussion was closed so I can’t reply but the issue is real and relevant as we are trying to move everything into zerotier IP within DC but unable to satuate 10g/40g links.
The max we can get with iperf3 is 1.7Gb/s with latest stable zerotier client under linux with 5.19 kernel. This is preventing us from going all zerotier IPs on internal/external networks.
Any progress on the zerotier multi-threaded packet handler mentioned in the thread below?
