Hello,
I am trying to access my D-Link cameras remotely on my Android mobile phone. Since they’re IP cameras the only compatible app the manufacturer offers is Justconnect+ which is very limited and I have to be connected to the local network to actually view the cameras.
I decided to try a solution with Zerotier, like setting up a VPN, but that doesn’t work.
What I’ve done is:
Connect the local network desktop PC to the ZT network and my mobile phone to the ZT network.
The IP address that ZT picks up for the PC however differs since there’s a FW on the local network.
If I setup a route from the Default Gateway NAT IP subnet via target PC virtual IP (ZT) is that gonna work?
The whole idea is to access those IP cameras remotely from anywhere not just local network and viewing them from the D-Link mobile add for Android.
