Are multiple gateways to same remote network possible?

I have managed routes and dnsmasq setup on a remote raspberry pi to be a gateway to the remote LAN. It works great, but I was hoping to build some redundancy by adding another gateway.

192.168.100.0/23 via 172.27.0.2 ← would this work at the same time or break the network?

Since the route is propagated to all members of the network I was worried it would confuse the clients on which one to use since there is no “weight” input to prefer one over the other. Am I missing something? Quite an amateur at networking, looked at Flow Rules for a clue but I simply am missing the foundation to understand.
