I uninstalled and then reinstalled Zerotier. It will now not run. If I run zerotier-cli status from the command line it responds "authtoken.secret not found or readable in c:\ProgramData\ZeroTier\One (try again as root). Running it from Zerotier\One makes no difference. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the same thing happens. By the way, the Windows Uninstall does not clear entries in the Windows Registry. So the last time I uninstalled, I manually went through the Registry and removed all Zerotier entries. Then rebooted and reinstalled. But I still can’t get Zerotier to work on this machine, whereas it did work when it was installed the first time.
Forgot to mention I am running under Windows 11
are you running from an Administrator command prompt?
Also forgot to mention that authtoken.secret is indeed placed by the installation exactly where Zerotier wants it.
No that was the problem, thank you! I now can move on to my next problem which I will post separately
