I have 5 nodes on my network. They are connected and have been assigned both ipv6 and ipv4 addresses. I can connect to ipv4 addresses of all the nodes except the one named Rutxchase 2. For this one only its ipv6 address works. This is quite unfortunate because it means i also can’t access the lan network of this router. It is worth noting that this router is on a starlink connection whereas the other Rutx is on a 5g. any ideas? Or failing this i could create a managed route rule using the ipv6 address of the Rutxchase2 but this isn’t an option in the managed routes tab … only ipv4 routes are allowed.
Other users have noticed sporadic glitching when using old ZeroTier versions with new ZeroTier versions. The problem may self-resolve if you upgrade ZeroTier from 1.10.1 to 1.14.0 on this node.
Another potentially easy fix is to click the blue trash icon beside the IPv4 address in the management portal so that Rutxchase2 gets a new address and replumbs itself.
Past that, you’ll need to get shell on the Rutxchase2 node through IPv6 to do diagnosis and troubleshooting. Platform versions, firewall configurations, and connectivity with other nodes are some of the things that matter.
