I have a Server 2008 R2 that periodically stops communicating. The ZT Central management page shows the node to be online but you cannot ping it. On the server, clicking on Show Networks has status as PORT_ERROR. Allow Managed IP will not stay checked. When checking that box, I get a popup “Error joining network: Cannot connect to ZeroTier Service”. The service is running.
This has happened on this server a few times but I FORGOT how I fixed it!
Firewall is off.
I’ve uninstalled, deleted all folders left over in Program files, etc. Cleaned out Registry.
I just noticed there is no ZeroTier adapter in Network and sharing.
Oh and this is a hyper-v virtual machine.
