Cannot send or receive pings on ZeroTier Network

I have setup a network and cannot receive pings; I cannot even ping myself. I can however ping other devices via ZeroTier?

My aim was to emulate a LAN.

Trying to ping my own managed IP:

Pinging 192.168.1.2 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.170: Destination host unreachable.

Trying to ping my IP from the other device:

Pinging 192.168.1.2 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.

It’s odd to me that I have two different error messages.

The other Device CAN access my public folder as though we shared a router. I cannot access the other device.

I followed the documentation and after setting up a ZeroTier network, and authorising a second device at a different location, I find I am stuck at the ‘send pings’ section.

Both devices have had their settings changed to accept pings. I also opened port 9993.

Both devices can ping my real IP successfully. The other devices real IP cannot be pinged (from either end).

I have tried disabling my firewall before pinging my own managed IP, but it did not help.

Windows 11
ZeroTier 1.10.6

Hi and welcome to the forum!

It will be much easier to help you if you describe in plain english what you want to achieve. Also, please provide a simple network topology or diagram of your installation.
