Can't communicate with node...sometimes?

I have a debian linux installation sitting in a cloud host on a zerotier network.

there are several windows and linux hosts on this zt network, and sometimes, some of them will stop being able to communicate with the debian server. I can log into it via SSH using it’s public IP so I know it’s online, and the other members of the zt network can ping eachother. the most frustrating part is it fixes itself randomly while i’m in the middle of trying to figure out what is wrong.

when it’s broken and I zerotier-cli peers on the debian server it is missing an entry for my node that I’m having the issue with. I DO see a file in the /var/lib/zerotier-one/peers.d directory for my peer though.

when it magically fixes itself my node begins showing in the peers command again, it’s very frustrating.

all machines on the network are on the latest version of the zerotier client.
