Can't ping ZeroTier member from primary LAN -- need assistance figuring out to route to it -- MikroTik

Hi! I’m new to ZeroTier. I have a MikroTik router with ZeroTier installed and working. In summary, I can’t access anything in the ZeroTier network unless I install the app on each internal device, and I don’t want to have to do that. I want to be able to access any device on my ZeroTier network from my internal LAN. I am sure it’s related to static routes, but I am not sure how to build the route. Here are some details:

Primary LAN: 192.168.12.0/22
Router: 192.168.12.1
Mac computer: 192.168.12.10

ZeroTier network: 192.168.15.0/24
Virtual machine: 192.168.15.2
Router’s ZT IP: 192.168.15.1

Ping VM from router: works
Ping router (192.168.15.1) from VM: works
Ping router (192.168.12.1) from VM: does not work

Ping Mac from router: works
Ping router (192.168.12.1) from Mac: works
Ping router (192.168.15.1) from Mac: does not work*
Ping VM from Mac: does not work*

*If I connect the Mac directly to ZeroTier with the app:
Ping router (192.168.15.1) from Mac: works
Ping VM from Mac: works

If there is any further information I can provide please let me know. Thank you!

have you put the IP through managed router in zerotier Central?

should be

  1. 192.168.12.0/24 via (Zerotier IP, not local IP )

wait how your virtual machine got the same ip as zerotier? what is the VM local IP?
