Hi. I have a network created in which a NAS, a cell phone and a Mac are connected. The three computers already respond to ping each other (using the IPs assigned by ZeroTier). The network IP configured in ZeroTier is 192.168.20.0/24 and my home network is 192.168.1.0/24. I want to connect from anywhere in the world to my home and go out through that network (my home network) to the internet. How can I do it, I still can’t solve this problem after several days. Thanks for your help!!!
You’ll need something on your home network that acts as a router between the two networks. If your home router is capable of installing zerotier, that’s the logical way to do it, otherwise you’ll need a machine (preferably Linux) to do the routing for you, but you’ll also need to set up the internal routing so that your home machines know how to get to the 192.168.20.0/24 network.
A good overview of the options can be found here: Integrating with Physical Networks | ZeroTier Documentation
With a tutorial on the NAT/Masquerade option here: Route between ZeroTier and Physical Networks | ZeroTier Documentation that will allow devices on the Zerotier network to connect to services on your home network, but not in the other direction.
Hi Erick, what a great help, thanks for the information and supporting documentation. I’m going to deploy a Debian on Docker and use it as a router
