DNS over Zerotier

I have dns server that resolve both public and local network IPs. Server also runs Zerotier for remote access to local network.

I can access local network by IPs.
Im looking to have clients using Zerotier outside of local network to be able to use this servers dns services as primary dns server.

Any ideas how to do that?

You may be able to just add your dns server IP to your zerotier network config.

That works if only needing LAN/Zerotier IPs resolved.
But for what I have tested this wont add that server as DNS server to client and client wont try to use that server for other than LAN/Zerotier networks.
