How to change ZeroTier Node ID

Good day friends. I checked the serotier forum but can’t find the answer.

Main issue I encountered is that I can’t remove the two files due to permissions.
I tried to chmod the two files identity.public and identity.secret but denied - can’t change permission. I’m new to linux. Two files might need something more than chmod so that it can be deleted. Anyone knows how to do it? please tell me. thanks in advance.

You’ll need to be “root”. On most distributions, this is done by using sudo

sudo rm identity.secret
