Just got mDNS name resolution for ZT which works great across MacOS/Windows and Ubuntu. Only problem is iPad / iPhone support doesn’t resolve the names. I think this was down to multicast being blocked on iOS?
If this is the case, could the ZT iPad client simply have an editable hosts file added? Not perfect, but would save having to remember IP addresses.

You are right. No multicast or broadcast on “vpn” addresses on ios or android.
I don’t think we’ll be able to add a hosts file feature in the near future. You can use GitHub - zerotier/zeronsd: A DNS server for ZeroTier users as a similar solution.
