Leaf Path IP/PORT

Hi All,

I have a question with peers path I dunno where to put this thread,
Do the ports on LEAF changes or they are permanent. I know that PLANETS uses 9993.

Hello

By default, nodes listen on 3 ports: 9993 and 2 other ports generated from the node address. This may change in the future.
What are you trying to do?

I was trying to QOS my 2 network since it is acting as a site to site and its been a week and the port didn’t change. do they change when public ip changes?

is there a way to have a static port?

Current behavior is that the 3 ports will always remain the same on each machine. The ports other than 9993 will be different from machine to machine, however.

In a future release, ports other than 9993 will be randomized each time ZeroTier starts. This is to get around some problematic routers that are blocking ZeroTier traffic after some period of time and for unknown reasons.

do we have an option to have LEAF on static port?
