Man in the middle MITM is ZT a defence?

Given ZT applies key security to connections, does that defeat man in the middle attacks? (Because the private key isnotavailable or spoofable?)

I currently use wireguard for my wifi connections, but if I use ZT does that become un-necessary ?

Anthony - trying to be less vulnerable to mitm attacks - and ransomeware though I don’t think ZT can help with the latter.
