Member connects only if added via cli but non API

Hello everybody, i’m testing ZeroTier.
When I join a network from the device with zerotier-cli join
But if instead I try to add the device from the Web portal GUI o using API the device get’s added to the device list but remains OFFLINE, and if I check on the device with listnetworks no network is listed.

Is there another step required when adding device via web or API?

Hello,
thanks for asking. You can’t force a client to join. A client can leave and rejoin any time it wants.
If you add it to Central before it joins, you’re pre-authorizing it to join.
