Hello,
I use zerotier at home router (OpenWRT) to reach my home network.
I’ve added home network route to ZT so my computer away knows my router in ZT is the gateway to home network.
So far, so good.
But when my laptop is at home, something I’ve not been able to trace (route loop?) makes my laptop not able nearly to network at all. I have to disconnect from my ZT HOME network manually to recover networking capabilities.
As I see it, ZT needs to check whether any local interface has subnet compatible with a managed network. This may indicate you’re local and ZT is not needed, but in any cas in my experience it causes a mess.
I’ve reviewed my Windows route table and it properly points to local interface instead of ZeroTier interface. I can’t guess what’s going on and appreciate any suggestions to further investigate it.
In any case I also believe this check can be done by ZT so a potential conflict between physical local LAN and a Managed Route is detected and sorted out.
Thanks for this great product!
