Network ID with Infinity sign - iPhone App Reinstall

When I changed iPhones, I had to delete the app and reinstall it since the MAC changed. Reinstalling the App puts an infinity sign after the Network ID and then the Network ID is listed again below the first Network ID.

What does the infinity sign signify?

I figured out this is related to the always on switch. But why is the ID duplicated on re-setup?
