Problems routing to home LAN

Hello,

I am trying to access my home LAN via its physical IP.
So, for example my home LAN is 192.168.1.0, one of the devices in this LAN is 192.168.1.221. Zerotier is installed there. This node has the ZeroTier IP 172.100.20.300 for example. The home LAN has a router where ZeroTier cannot be installed on.

I set a managed route 192.168.1.0 via 172.100.20.300.
Though, I cannot ping 192.168.1.221 from other ZeroTier devices. I can access 172.100.20.300 via other devices.

What am I missing here?
