Remote PC Connection

Hi - I have two Windows PC’s on my ZeroTier Network.

I have enabled Remote Access on both but when I try to connect I get this error:

Any thoughts please ?

[Window Title]
Remote Desktop Connection

[Content]
Remote Desktop can’t connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:

  1. Remote access to the server is not enabled
  2. The remote computer is turned off
  3. The remote computer is not available on the network

Make sure that the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network and that remote access is enabled.

Hi @GW4DVB,

I have been using RDP over zerotier for some time. Has worked fine for me.
Do you allow all connections over zerotier or do you have some rules set up?
Which version of Windows on the remote machine?

Kind regards,

Timmmy

No rules set up.

I have followed and set up as per the ZeroTier instructions and a number of YouTube videos… Still no luck

Can you ping the machine?

All the Windows devices - But not the IOS ones !

IOS?
Would be helpful if you could give some more context: which machine are in your zerotier network, which RDP is failing and which ping is working
