Slow Performance on Brume GL-MV1000 overlay network with Brume2 GL-MT2500 gateway

I have an overlay network between a Brume GL-MV1000(client) and a Brume2 GL-MT2500(gateway) and I’m encountering an issue with slow performance. I’m getting around 30Mbps when using the Brume2 as the default route from the Brume client.

Details:

  • Brume GL-MV1000 (Client):
    • OpenWrt 22.03.4
    • Firmware: 1.10.3
    • Bandwidth: 300Mbps
    • Role: Client
  • Brume2 GL-MT2500 (Gateway):
    • OpenWrt 21.02
    • Firmware: 1.10.3
    • Bandwidth: 500Mbps
    • Role: Exit node

Troubleshooting steps taken:

  • Verified Brume2 gateway is performing well by achieving high speeds(150Mbps) with an iMac connected directly to its Wi-Fi.
  • Included ZeroTier peer information for both devices for further analysis.
