The number of Devices which were online suddenly went to zero and came back to the real number

Hi Folks,

I am running a network in New Zealand using the Zerotier network. I have experienced the following issue two times today between 10.15 AM to 10.25 AM and 10.35 AM to 10.48 AM,

  • The number of Devices which were online suddenly went to zero and came back to the real number. there were around 30 devices online and it went zero devices online and again came back to 30.

what was the reason behind that?

Controllers were restarting.

Note that the “Online” number is just a convenience display. It means that the controller talked to the node recently. It does not mean your network members could or couldn’t talk to each other. ZeroTier is peer to peer after all.
