Two Zerotier router behind same NAT

Hello,

Is it possible to run two Zerotier router behind same NAT (Same Public IP address)?

Yes, that will work. Zerotier will try to build direct connections between your nodes over any path it can find. In this case, if both devices are behind the same public IP address, then they are also likely on the same LAN as each other, so the connection will be built over the internal IPs local to the site.

If both devices cannot communicate on the LAN at the site, then you can still accomplish this, but in order for the connection to be “direct”, you may need something like NAT reflection on the router hosting the public IP. This will allow the 2 internal IPs to communicate with each other using the same public IP (though the traffic would still not leave the site).

Thank you for your support
