Uninstalled then reinstall gives me 401 status {} but sudo shows working

I uninstalled my zerotier. Then reinstalled. Now I get 401 status {} when I check status. If I use a sudo command then I get a 200 ONLINE. I created a new user to test. The test user shows 200 ONLINE also. Before the uninstall it was working fine.
I am running MacOS Monterey. It is an M1 Mac. (Note it was working fine before the uninstall).

I checked and there is no .zeroTierOneAuthToken in my users home folder.
Any ideas folks?

Ok. FYI I fixed it. I installed version 1.6.6. That worked. Now I might try the latest again. See what happens.
