If I link two sites with a different number of uplinks each, how would VL1 work?
Let’s say I set ZeroTier multipath options for balance-xor, otherwise nothing special done on the underlying OS except that it’s aware there’s a default gateway on each uplink; it knows both work, maybe it gets a little OSPF sprinkled on top to really make it aware but routes aren’t passed down the virtual networks. And for simplicity’s sake it will forward everything received on each of its uplinks through a different ZeroTier VL2 construct, or network and vice versa.
Are the virtual layers (the VL2s) load-balanced? Are they bonded? How would it work? How are they routed in VL1?
