Zerotier-cli: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.1

New to Zerotier and wanted to try it out. I’m run Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid on my server. When trying to join, I get the following error:

zerotier-cli: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It looks like zerotier-cli is using an obsolete version of openssl. It appears that openssl 1.1 is no longer supported on this version of Debian.

I tried creating links from libssl.so.1.1 to the current version on my server but apparently they aren’t compatible…

Any thoughts on getting this operational?

I was able to download a copy from the Ubuntu depository. It’s working now.

It’s at:
http://ports.ubuntu.com/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.1_1.1.1f-1ubuntu2_arm64.deb
