Zerotier Client seems to lose local configuration for a network

We have

allowManaged=1 
allowGlobal=1 
allowDefault=0 
allowDNS=1

in a networkID.local.conf file on MacOS. On Windows this “checks the boxes” in the GUI and just works. On MacOS, it seems to lose the routes to the public network, which seems to be related to the GUI not showing the check marks for AllowGlobal etc after a day or so. The only fix so far is to manually uncheck and recheck in the GUI.

The local file is managed by JAMF on MacOS, puppet on Windows. Not sure why this is happening on MacOS. Any ideas?
