Zerotier freezes installation on the latest Debian 12

I saw a script from a year ago, but it seemed this needs to be fixed. This is link to that script: https://github.com/zerotier/ZeroTierOne/issues/1657#issuecomment-1367907945

I can confirm. Tried loading zerotier-one on my T420 Running Debian 12 and ran into the same problem. Had to ctrl-c to get out of it and the result is a broken service that will not start.

Checked the zerotier repository, there IS a version that works with Bookworm. Just change your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/zerotier.list from buster to bookworm.

The installer scripts need to be updated (at least the SSL one) to allow Debian 12.

Thank you so much, Dug. Appreciate it!

Looks like there was an error in the script served from https://install.zerotier.com. We just deployed a fix
