Hi. Although I’ve seen this topic is already active in Github and it was closed a year ago in this forum I think it’s important enough to remain opened until a real solution exists. The data consumption of zerotier is about 3MB per hour (1.5tx + 1.5rx). That means that in a typical IoT application (application promoted explicitly by Zerotier) connecting through a 4G/LTE router, the data consumption will be more than 2GB per month. Our application comsumption is less than 100MB so that means the VPN connection is getting the 98% of our data plan costs.
I’ve read that you planned to improve that with version 2 since two years ago:
