Zerotier keeps dropping

I’m on plasma wayland and trying to get ZT working with sunshine/moonlight. EndeavourOS.

If I have my firewall zone set as public, it seems to work normally. I can ping and connect to moonlight to sunshine. However, I don’t want my regular network to have the sunshine ports open, so I want my ZT network to be a different firewall zone. I changed ZT to the work firewall zone and everything broke.

After changing the zone, the ZT network is regularly dropping, no longer visible in network or firewall, and failing to ping even the ZT ip for the same device. ZT service still says running via systemctl status zerotier-one.

Deleting the /var/lib/zerotier-one/peers.d/* data fixes it long enough to make a ping, but it breaks shortly afterwards. I cannot connect to moonlight to sunshine even when pinging works, despite having the same service entries enabled that work on the public zone.

Help please :frowning:

I ended up giving up and just adding the zt interface to the trusted zone instead of trying to muck about with a lot of local side security. I’ll trust the zt security on the private network. I don’t like it, but it’ll do.
