I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions to resolve this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information or logs.
I’m encountering an issue with load balancing Internet traffic across two ZeroTier instances on a MikroTik router. While outbound traffic from the LAN to the Internet appears to be balanced, inbound traffic from the Internet is predominantly routed through zerotier1 as illustrated in the attached screenshot.
Current Configuration:
- VPS: Configured as a ZeroTier exit node using SNAT.
- MikroTik Router:
- Two ZeroTier instances, each connected to the VPS via different WAN interface with two different ports
- Three managed routes in the ZeroTier console:
- SNAT route via VPS’s public IP for Internet traffic
- Two routes to the 192.168.3.64/27 LAN, each routed through a specific ZeroTier peer IP address
Expected Behavior:
I anticipate that both ZeroTier peers should be utilized for both inbound and outbound traffic, ensuring optimal load distribution and redundancy.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
