ZT1 on Synology DS215j

Hi,
I would like to install ZeroTier-One on a rather old (but still very much in use) Sinology DS215j with a completely up-to-date software (DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2).
CPU is a “MARVELL Armada 375 88F6720”.

I went to standard location, but I don’t see my combination.
I tried with “closest match” (zerotier_88f6281-6.1_1.4.0-0.spk), but it is rejected because “this package is not supported on the platform of Disk Station or is incompatible with the current DSM version.”

What are my options?
I am not scared about cross-compiling myself, but I would like guidance to avoid unnecessary problems.

As far as I can see the CPU is arm type. So I would try to ssh into the Box and use the static arm Binary that can be downloaded here https://download.zerotier.com/RELEASES/1.4.6/dist/static-binaries/

The static binaries work well for me on Systems like this.

apparently it’s working.
I had to manually insmod /lib/modules/tun.ko (modprobe tun failed silently).

Now I’ll have to understand how to launch it automatically at startup, but that’s another story.
