2 iphones would have the same address in zerotier

Hi, it seems like a valid question here.
There is a possibility that you will have 2 devices with the same MAC/zerotier address.
Based on the “similar” search, the way is to clear/reset address.

However, the doc page doesn’t mention how to deal with iOS devices when this happens.
I also found this post, but nobody answered.

I need some help with this. Thanks.

Notice how the “Member Address” for a node at ZeroTier Central is the same as the prefix in the identity.public file on that node. ZeroTier nodes must not have identical configurations, like what you get when restoring from backup.

Do this on an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Disable backups for the ZeroTier app in the Settings app. Look for a Turn Off & Delete from iCloud button.
  2. Uninstall the ZeroTier app.
  3. Reinstall the ZeroTier app.
  4. Rejoin the ZeroTier network.

On a computer, use the zerotier-idtool utility to change member addresses or the method described in the ZeroTier FAQ.
