ZeroTier 1.10.1 GUI doesn't start on macOS

I installed ZeroTier from the downloads page. Everything installed fine and I have an app icon in my Applications folder. When I click it nothing seems to happen, no tray icon or window appears. However, if I list the processes that are running, I see a ZeroTier process.

Also, it appears that zerotier-cli is not added to my PATH.

Does anyone have any insight into what’s going on?

I’m running macOS Monterey 12.5 on an M2 MacBook Air. I don’t have the firewall turned on.

EDIT: I’ve seen this post. This is a different problem.

That’s pretty strange. Haven’t heard of these symptoms before.

Try running the installer again?

Sorry, :disappointed: new machine and I didn’t think of it sooner, /usr/local/bin wasn’t in my PATH. So I’ve fixed that issue.

Otherwise the GUI still won’t start. Killing the GUI process and restarting it doesn’t have an effect. CLI says ZeroTier is online though, and I can interact with it that way just fine.

I’m in the same boat. ZeroTier GUI doesn’t open up on MacBook M1 Monterey. It is running if you check the functionality using Terminal.

I am also experiencing this issue. M1 MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.5.1.
